  • A Grade
    Brodie Anderson: Brodie has stepped up into the role of A Grade captain, he brings lots of experience into the role after being Ryan’s Vice Captain for the last 10 years. Playing plenty of cricket at higher levels and seeing the game in ways no one else is able to see. Brodie has been outstanding leader for us opening the batting as well as being one a bowler you can rely to get the job done when needed, he has collected plenty of accolades along the way, from league batting averages, to club champions and VCCL bowling awards and we hope this will continue. We wish Brodie all the best in the new role and cannot wait to see what the season brings.
    A Reserve
    Jet Kellow: Jet has taken the reigns again this coming season of our B Grade side, after a strong showing last year which saw them just miss a finals berth Jet will be looking to bolster the squad depth with some old heads and new up and coming players to be playing at the back end of the season. Jet who is a bowling all rounder will look to lead from the front with the ball while anchoring the tail of our batting as well as continuing to grow and thrive in this role. We once again can't wait to see what Jet brings to the table ahead of his second season in charge.

  • Sophie Molineux is one of Australia's premier all-round cricketers, renowned for her left-arm orthodox spin bowling, determined lower-order batting, and outstanding leadership. Born in Bairnsdale, Victoria, she quickly rose through the ranks of Victorian cricket after an exceptional junior career with West Bairnsdale Cricket Club, making her debut for Victoria in the Women's National Cricket League (WNCL) in 2016. Her performances earned her the inaugural Betty Wilson Young Cricketer of the Year Award in 2017 and established her as one of Australia's brightest young talents.

    Molineux made her Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) debut with the Melbourne Renegades during the competition's inaugural season. She developed into one of the league's leading all-rounders, winning the WBBL Young Gun Award before later claiming the league's Most Valuable Player honour. Her leadership qualities saw her appointed captain of the Renegades, guiding the club to its maiden WBBL championship in 2024 after finishing on top of the ladder and winning the final.

    Her domestic success led to international selection in 2018, when she made her T20 International debut against India before earning her One Day International debut later that year. In 2019, she added a Test cap to become an all-format Australian representative. Molineux played an important role in Australia's ICC Women's T20 World Cup triumphs in 2018 and 2020, establishing herself as a reliable spin bowler capable of performing under pressure on the biggest stage.

    Throughout her career, Molineux has overcome several significant injuries, including knee, foot and shoulder setbacks, showing remarkable resilience to return to the Australian side. Her determination and consistency earned her opportunities in major international franchise competitions, including The Hundred and the Women's Premier League, where she was part of Royal Challengers Bengaluru's historic maiden WPL title in 2024.

    In 2026, Molineux entered a new chapter by becoming captain of the Australian women's cricket team. She led Australia to victory at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in her first major tournament as captain, finishing among the tournament's leading wicket-takers and further cementing her reputation as one of the world's elite all-rounders and leaders. Her journey from West Bairnsdale Criclet Club in country Victoria to captaining Australia is a testament to her talent, resilience, and commitment to excellence.
